The Village


Balaia Golf Village lies just 35 km west (approx. 30 minutes drive) from Faro International Airport. It is 4 km east of the bustling holiday resort of Albufeira. Care and attention to detail are the hallmarks of Balaia Village. The beautiful pine trees form not only the perfect backdrop, they give privacy and provide welcome shade in summer.

Most of our properties are 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments but we do also offer a one bedroomed and a three bedroomed apartment and a three bedroomed detached villa.

Balaia Village - with 2 glorious beaches little more than 400m away and a wealth of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes close by.

Balaia Village - with its beautiful little gem of a 9-hole par 3 executive golf course right on the complex (some of our apartments lie close to the clubhouse and have views over the course or driving range from the terrace!!).

As well as the 9 hole, par 3 golf course and driving range, the village features 6 outdoor pools and an indoor leisure centre with gym, pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and massage room. There are also 4 tennis courts and golfer's chipping and putting practice areas. Reception is there to arrange car hire, taxis, babysitting, currency exchange etc as well taking care of your booking requirements for other facilities in the village and surroundings.

At lunchtime and in the evenings, the A Varanda or Clubhouse restaurants can take care of your needs in comfortable and relaxed surroundings whilst poolside snack bars take care of those in between times. For those looking for lively nightlife, Albufeira is just 4 Kms away, close enough to walk - whilst for those seeking a quiet life that's far enough away not to disturb your peace!!

All-in-all, Balaia Village is the perfect holiday location whatever your preferences and offers an ideal base for exploring the wonderful Algarvian countryside and beaches.
