Albufeira

The town nearest to Balaia Golf Village is Albufeira. The distance is walkable (15-25 minutes depending on your walking speed). Here, you'll find supermarkets, restaurants of all kinds, shops, bars, clubs, and more.

We recommend taking a trip to the Albufeira Old Town, where you can relax with great food and drinks in beach-side restaurants. Some buildings and restaurants are carved into the cliffs above the beach. You'll find also street performers and the occasional beach sculpture here too. Old Town is further away (45-60 minutes walking), so you might want to consider a taxi.

Beaches

The nearest beach is Praia Maria Luisa, just a five-minute walk from the Balaia entrance. Slightly further away are Praia Santa Eulália and Beach Olhos de Água. All three are gorgeous beaches with golden sands and rolling waves.

If you fancy a drink or a bite to eat, you'll find beach-side cafes at all nearby beaches. Alternatively, you could grab a few supplies from the Balaia supermarket on your way out and head down to the sands for a beach picnic.

Some beaches also have hireable pedalos, inflatables, and even boat rides.

If you prefer home-cooking, the Balaia supermarket has everything you need to prepare a meal, and apartment 749 comes with both a fully-equipped kitchen and a barbeque.
